Stopped in for breakfast on our road trip and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was super reasonably priced, the staff were awesome, even bringing out a freebie sample to snack on. Highly recommend!
My dad and I come here for breakfast pretty regularly and it's always good. Everyone is so friendly and it's reasonably priced with options to satisfy every palate.
I tried the Meat Eggs Benedict at Sunrise Griddle, and it was absolutely amazing! The eggs were cooked perfectly soft, silky, and just right. The flavors all came together beautifully, and you can tell they put care into every detail. Definitely one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend.
Sunrise is our go-to place for breakfast and lunch and has been for years. The owner Zaku is awesome and takes pride in the food that’s served. The servers Tammy and G are amazing, friendly and efficient. For sure the best breakfast in Bowmanville. And lunch too is amazing. Excellent soups. And the roti is so good too.
We were sat right away by a friendly man. Restaurant was cheerful and had lots of booths. Wasn't too busy when we arrived but got busier during our time there. I had a 2 egg/bacon/hashbrown&toast breakfast and it was really good. Hubby had 2 pancakes with scrambled eggs and toast. He said the pancakes tasted like some curry got into them and they were cold. He didn't like them at all. Our server was attentive and friendly. It's too bad that this was our first experience here, likely our last based on this.
Why two stars? Two " all day breakfasts ", one coffee,one orange juice - $33.50!! They charged $2.99 for a coffee. The breakfast had at best one egg,not three as advertised. The food was good,the place is clean but the prices and lack of portions is laughable. You're $40 with a tip for breakfast?
My husband and I are very particular about our breakfast. We had tried a few different places in Bowmanville, and can say we have found our spot! We are never disappointed! Quick service, delicious food!
