We’re in town for a girls hockey tournament and came here for takeout lunch every day. The chicken souvlaki diner is delicious, greek salad is fantastic, and they are so nice! Food is also ready super quick and very reasonably priced. This will a staple whenever we’re in town.
I’ve got food here many times, decent food. I got food around 530 on Thursday . That chef can’t be serving food like that. holes everywhere, wet hair(hoping was wet not just grossness) just overall gross, he looked like he hasn’t showered. As well as the lady at the back is hacking up and puking. This is not a professional environment, At least the guy at the front was professional and very helpful. That chef is gross and needs to shower before serving food
Not a good experience this time around. They assume that you know their menu. I asked for a chicken solvacki, not knowing that it was just a skewer. Doubled backed when I realize that was All I was getting. So instead of asking for a chicken solvcki on a pita, I said bun. Which is what I got. It was terrible. Next time the staff needs to be able to qualify their customers, so that they get the best possible experience necessary!
Picked up a Chicken Souvlaki(quel suprise?)from a Greek place...portion size was good...dinner that nite, and the leftovers I had for lunch the next day...I will order from there again...would have liked some pita bread with it and a bit more tdaziki and salade...but ill just order more next time. Chicken was cooked perfect...tbh it tasted just like KFC(?), fries were crispy and golden brown and the rice had no bones in it at all(no undercooked grains)and for $20 I got 1 & a half meals thats not too bad...definitely recommend.
When I went to go into the restaurant the employees were standing at the doorway smoking cannabis even though the law states they need to be a minimum of 3 metres away from the entrance of the restaurant. Not a good look for a restaurant and why wouldn’t the employees use the back entrance to smoke? They have great food but not everyone wants to walk-in while employees are smoking anything.
I’ve been to the I Greek in Oshawa when it was open and today I tried the OG I Greek in Bowmanville. The food was amazing. I got the chicken souvlaki dinner. I swear they make the best Greek potatoes in Durham region. I will definitely be returning!
We were in town the other evening. We can never decide where to get something for dinner. Most of the time we end up just going home and grabbing something from the freezer. But this time as we were heading east on King St east of Liberty I saw iGreek and said THERE. She said okay. I have eaten from there before so I know it's good. She has not. We got in and the owner (I assume was the owner) was very polite pleased we came in. My wife is celiac. So he to the best of his knowledge went over the menu for her. She got chicken skewers and a small salad. I got the Chicken Souvlaki dinner. We brought home. She loved the skewers and salad. My souvlaki was awesome. There is enough in mine for two meals. Potatoes were very tasty. Chicken was cooked perfect and tasty. And the rice was full of flavour. Don't let the little store fool you. They know what they're doing. We will be stopping in again.
