Black Dog is “home away from home” for my two dogs. John and his team are very trustworthy, observant, and experienced in managing all ages, breeds, and levels of care for dogs. My two girls hop out of the car and happily run and play as soon as they arrive here! John also does fantastic work with Standard Poodles In Need, a wonderful poodle rescue, offering exceptional care of these dogs before they find their foster and forever homes.
Great place! Any dog would be a lucky dog to spend time here. The owner John is a sweetheart... I would have to call him the dog whisperer. All dogs love and worship him. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Fabulous kennel!!! You can truly not worry while you dog is at Blackdog - I have complete trust in the staff (especially the owner, John). Further, they help to foster dogs being released from puppy mills - helping provide these poor souls with a soft place to land - excellent business all around!
I have a very skittish young vizsla who is slow to warm up to people. John and his staff make this a fun place for him to go. He wags his tail off when we drop him and when we pick him up. Happy Dog, happy owner.
After using other local kennels, our golden doodle would often come home sick and/or injured. Once we found Black Dog, we could finally feel comfortable leaving our dog overnight. John is very responsive and great with the animals. Our dog always comes home healthy and happy. A couple times John has even bathed our dood for us! Highly recommend sending your dogs to Black Dog Pet Resort.
Have been taking my dogs here for about 14yrs. John and his staff are amazing and so caring with all the dogs. Our dogs have always come home happy and healthy. Could not have a better place for our dog’s and our piece of mind when we are away.
Amazing! Our three dogs were there for 10 days and were happy and had a great time!! We have never boarded any of them before and it was such a positive experience! We will definitely be using them again.
