Waited an hour after the scheduled appointment time for flu/COVID shot as one of two people in the lobby. 20 minutes after the scheduled time I heard the tech remind the pharmacist that I'm still waiting. Thought he was coming to call me in but nope, it was to say he'll call me in 15-20 minutes. Waited another 30-40 minutes after that. Questionable protocol as I received my vaccine certificate/CIRN questionnaire emails 10 minutes before I got the shots. None of the usual questions or advising to stay for 10-15mins in case of side effects. At least that part was quick I suppose.
Amazing experience with beauty/makeup pro Jaida today in store. She was knowledgeable, professional and very approachable. Way to go Shoppers Drug Mart, King Street, Bowmanville ☺️
Today I came here earlier to the front cash to buy something and there was a young white gentleman who was there who was friendly but there was another white lady (who I think might be the Manager or Assistant Manager or colleague, not sure) was there doing some work behind the counter and she kept on repeatedly staring at us (we are brown, South Asian) in a very unfriendly and serious way (she had brown hair in a ponytail and was wearing glasses). Even when we smiled at her she kept a set face and her constant direct gaze towards us was making me feel uncomfortable. She was clearly prejudice, it's not hard to read that kind of expression and attitude. She never once said hi or greeted us in a friendly, pleasant and courteous way. I don't understand why people like this who have no tolerance and are racist work here especially in customer service if they can't even hide these kind of negative sentiments. I truly believe educated people who practice humanity are those who are kind to everyone regardless of what they look like and the colour of their skin.
10/10! I went here to get my makeup done for graduation and I didn't catch her name but the lady doing it was absolutely fantastic! I only had a vague idea of what I wanted but she helped me decide for each step and gave nice feedback when I wasn't sure. The look ended up being exactly what I was hoping for and I felt so good and confident after. I recommend going here for any important events that you want professional makeup for! Just remember to book an appointment at least 2 weeks - 1 month in advance!
Absolutely useless pharmacy. I ordered a refill over 24 hours ago and when I went to pick it up the lady at the pharmacy (Analee) looked at me with a smug look and said “does he actually need it” to which I replied “do you need air?” Apparently epilepsy medication is a joke to some. Then I had to wait for over half an hour while there was several other employees. Absolutely pathetic do better
My best experiences are always and only with Shadah in the pharmacy. She makes a point of making you feel special by always remembering my name and even speaks out when I am just passing by and not using the pharmacy. She is attentive and always goes over and above for me. SHE is one of the reasons I use this pharmacy. The other assistant (I can never remember her name) is on maternity leave and is equally amazing. Keep it up ladies. You set the bar high and all should follow your lead!! The rest of the staff in the store are also amazing and personable. It is never just a quick stop to Shoppers lol I love the conversations at each shopping visit and the relationships formed over the years!!

Michelle is always so pleasant, friendly, courteous and provides excellent customer service. I really appreciate employees and individuals like Michelle. People like her give positive vibes to the customer and makes their experience a good and pleasant one. Another pleasant and friendly employee at the front cash is Paula.
