Just had the best Sticky toffee pudding here. I was told by the owner that the chef used to be a head pastry chef and it definitely shows. The fish tacos were also amazing. Such a gem of a place.
The burgers, poutine and fish and chips are amazing. The staff are responsive and fun to be around. I also like their pizzas and the village burger is amazing.
We were in town for a few days with our dog and were able to bring him to the back patio. We enjoyed the food (pizza and pulled pork burger) very much!
Had a great experience here. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I have celiac and there were lots of gluten free options! We shared the spinach dip with tortilla chips and I had the perogies for dinner. Forgot to take pics I was so excited to eat!
Used to visit this location for many years when it was village in, however moved to Oshawa and decided to order through Uber eats as we haven’t been there since it’s changed owners. We knew the order probably wouldn’t still be hot, which is understandable, however we were missing multiple items, no cheese on the garlic bread (which was added and paid for) no dips for the wings or chicken fingers, no carrots and celery that was supposed to come with the $17 lb of wings!! You could order up to two sauces on the wings, which we did, only received 1 sauce. The whole meal was disappointing to be honest beside the fact that a handful of items were missing and the cost of insane for what you receive.
Our meal was fabulous, as was our server and our lovely patio table. We did want a coffee after lunch, however. They don't sell coffee . That was a surprise and a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, very nice visit.
Opening a new restaurant in this pandemic has to be hard but saying that I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. They have some of the best pizza in town! The service has been so accommodating and friendly despite hiccups with a power outage and opening in the current climate. I look forward to seeing what this place has to offer and look forward to seeing what it looks like inside for dining! Recently came back and they are still doing great work, different items on the menu and all the staff are still amazing as ever! Keep up the great work!
