The woman that served us was really rude and told us they didnt have soup even tho its on the screen and said that there is only enough food for 2 wraps while we're only in the middle of the day and the smoothies are slushes that only taste like water with a little flavor.
Previously I’ve never had a problem with the coffee from here was in a rush to get back home to get my daughter sorted for her day out grabbed a quick coffee from here as it’s usually always good. Got home. and the coffee went straight down the sink. It was just not fresh. It was undrinkable very disappointed.
This location would highly benefit from having a third person working in the mornings. Maybe delicate certain things to each individual for morning. 1 person cash/1person on food/ 1 on drinks. There is potential to make this work really well if they had protocol or procedures in place during rush hours. Morning wait times are long for this reason. Atmosphere- Clean. Always a table available if you’d like to sit. Drinks- Good. Hot and (I don’t order anything complex just coffee) but always accurate. Good- This is where it gets questionable. Bagels w/ Creamcheese are fine anything premade to be warmed(I.e- Samosa/Beef patty) is also fine. But if you ask for a BLT they are skimpy on the meat I find. I’m sure probably protocol because Tim hortons has a limit of 6 pieces before they make you pay extra. (Mind you both Tim hortons and Coffee time use similar if not the same size bacon. And Coffee time will give you a lot less bacon. They should change this because I am always very disappointed with the BLT. The last one I ordered from there will be the last one I order unless they change this.
I have ordered from here countless times every single time I order something is missing from my order or something is completely messed up with it. I ordered a hash brown and it came with colourful dots on it. Not normal. Ordered a buy one get one free and they will charge me in full but give me only one of the item I paid for.
I am so sorry to the owners of this establishment. My previous review was negative because Idid not get a 2 for 1 deal. It was absolutely not the fault of this Coffee Time. It was resolved with the service I ordered from. Not only did I jump to the conclusion that they were at fault but they then (likely knowing I was wrong) offered me compensation. Once again, I apologize for my earlier review. I should not have done that to a business owner doing their best. I will be coming by again very soon. Great place.

However, it's worth noting that the sweetness was quite pronounced and the concentration of flavors leaned towards the intense side. My friend, who prefers a milder taste, decided to experiment by adding soda water to the drink. This ingenious alteration transformed the beverage into a fizzy, lighter version that suited her palate perfectly, turning the initial encounter into an even more enjoyable memory. The staff at Coffee Time in Bowmanville ensured a welcoming atmosphere. Also, credit goes to maintaining the shop's tidy environment, which further enhances the overall experience. Coffee Time in Bowmanville offers an undoubtedly delightful experience. It's evident that customer satisfaction is a priority for the establishment.
This location has the best staff. I have never had stale muffins or treats here. This location and the one on Rossland and Stephenson are owned by the same folks, it shows in their work. Great cup!
